125 years of Opel - 120 years of Rolls Royce - 100 years of Chrysler - 85 Borgward / 70 Isabella - 100 years of MG

From August 30th to September 1st, 2024, the Schwetzingen Castle Park near Heidelberg will be the meeting point for the 150 most beautiful classic cars in history for the 20th time. The most traditional German Concours d'Elegance in a castle park will, as always in accordance with FIVA regulations, present European rarities from the history of the car brand in Rüsselsheim to mark Opel's 125th anniversary.
At the same time, an entire segment of the circular baroque garden is dedicated to the luxury brand Rolls Royce, which built its first automobiles in 1904.
The Chrysler brand, founded in 1924, is similarly steeped in tradition and, together with Plymouth, Dodge and others, later became the third major US car company after Ford and GM.
Carl F. Borgward's car factory in Bremen, however, always remained a family business and operated under the family name from 1939 onwards after taking over Hansa-Werke. With the Borgward 1500/1800, Borgward built the first German series car with a pontoon body, which was followed 70 years ago in 1954 by the legendary Isabella.
The Mercedes 190 and 300 SL are also 70 years old and are being celebrated with exclusive exhibits.
The patronage is the Allgemeine Schnauferl Club ASC, which was also founded in 1900 as a club for automobile inventors. The main partner has been Württembergische Versicherung as one of the leading classic car insurance companies for more than 10 years.
ASC Classic Gala Schwetzingen will, as always with the assistance of the brand clubs, present a selection of the best automobiles on every topic, such as 100 years MG or the Fiat 850 - the international application jury will select from the incoming registration requests. Early registration request is strongly recommended.
In contrast to most international Concours d'Elegances, the audience benefits on the weekend of August 30th. Until September 1st, 2024, the entrance fee is just 8 euros - this is also unique in the world.
